01 Connection

Tiroana is a place to pause and reconnect — with your breath, your body, and the community around you. Whether in stillness, gentle movement, or shared circle, you are invited to return to yourself with presence and authenticity.

02 Health & Wellbeing Benefits

Just one hour of mindful practice each week can make a difference. Our classes are designed to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, improve sleep, and support emotional balance — helping you feel more at ease in daily life.

03 Resilience & Inner Strength

Life will always bring change and challenge. At Tiroana, meditation and yoga become resources you can draw on, building inner steadiness and clarity. These practices nurture the quiet strength to meet life with compassion and confidence.

Our Classes

SOFTEN Yin Yoga (60 minutes) - Women Only Class

SOFTEN is a Yin yoga practice focused on long-held, mostly floor-based postures.

Unlike more active styles of yoga that work with muscle strength and movement, Yin yoga targets the deeper connective tissues of the body — including fascia, ligaments, and joints. Poses are held for several minutes, allowing the body time to gradually release and create space through the hips, legs, and spine.

Yin yoga is also influenced by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

The class's pace is quiet and reflective. Most of the practice takes place on the floor, with props to support the body so you can settle comfortably into each posture.

Props, including bolsters, blocks, blankets, straps, and mats, are provided and encouraged.

    This class is for:

    • Anyone wanting a slow, quiet yoga practice

    • Those looking to improve flexibility and joint mobility

    • People feeling tight, stressed, or physically fatigued

    • Anyone drawn to a more meditative style of yoga

    Things to know:

Yin yoga involves deep, passive stretching. Some comfort with floor-based postures and gentle hip or hamstring stretching can be helpful.

UNFOLD — Steady Hatha Flow Yoga (60 minutes)

UNFOLD is a steady but flowing, breath-aware Hatha yoga class designed to support ease of movement, body awareness, and a grounded connection to the body.

Each class follows a traditional yoga structure. Practice begins with a short grounding meditation or awareness practice, followed by pranayama (breath awareness). From there, the class moves through asana (yoga postures) in a steady sequence, then finishes with meditation in Savasana.

The focus is on strength, mobility, balance, and mindful awareness.

Props are encouraged and available in every class, including mats, bolsters, blocks, straps, and blankets. These supports help you adjust poses and find variations that suit your body.

    This class is for:

    • Students with some yoga experience

    • Anyone who enjoys a steady, grounded yoga practice

    • Those wanting to build strength, mobility, and balance

This class may not be suitable if:

    • You have never practised yoga before

If you are completely new to yoga, starting with Yin, Restorative, or Chair Yoga may feel more comfortable before joining this class.

EMBODY Chair Yoga (60 minutes) COMING SOON IN 2026

EMBODY is a gentle yoga class where traditional yoga postures are practised with the support of a chair.

Rather than being a general stretching or mobility class, this is yoga adapted for a seated or supported practice. Familiar yoga movements are explored in a slower, more accessible way, with the chair providing stability, balance, and support.

Some movements are practised seated, while others may be done standing with the chair nearby for support.

The focus is on mobility, strength, balance, breath, and body awareness, all within a supportive and approachable environment.

    This class is for:

    • Beginners to yoga

    • Older adults

    • Anyone returning to movement after illness or injury

    • Those wanting a gentler, supported yoga practice

No previous yoga experience is required.

  • SURRENDER — Restorative Yoga, Crystal Bowl Sound & Yoga Nidra

SURRENDER & REST is a deeply restorative, once-a-month Sunday session designed as a gentle reset — a mini retreat to help you slow down, release the week that’s been, and settle into the one ahead.

This extended class offers spacious, uninterrupted time to truly rest. It’s an intentional pause away from everyday demands, without the commitment of a weekly class.

The practice is slow and mostly still, using fully supported restorative yoga postures with bolsters, blankets, and props (all provided). Only a small number of shapes are practised, with plenty of time to settle into each position.

There is no stretching, strengthening, or physical effort required.

During the class, crystal singing bowl sound is woven gently through the practice, followed by a guided Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) meditation. Together these practices support nervous system settling, deep relaxation, and emotional release.

This is not a workout or a typical yoga class.

It’s a quiet, nourishing experience designed to feel like a small retreat — without having to go anywhere.

    This class is for:

    • Those wanting a monthly ritual of rest and reset

    • Anyone feeling overstimulated, tired, or emotionally depleted

    • People who find it hard to switch off or slow down

    • Those drawn to restorative yoga, meditation, and sound

    • Anyone seeking a calm, women-only space to rest and restore

Everything in this class is optional. You’re welcome to rest, adjust, or simply receive. There’s no pressure to move, achieve, or perform — only an invitation to be supported.

Held once a month on Sunday afternoons. Spaces are limited.
