    SOFTEN - Yin Yoga

    75 minutes | Tuesday Evenings | Women-Only Class

SOFTEN is a Yin yoga class that uses long-held postures and props to support stretching of the hips, legs, spine, and shoulders.

Rather than moving continuously, postures are held for several minutes, allowing time to work gradually with the body’s deeper connective tissues. You will feel sensation and stretch, but the aim is never to push or force the body.

Most of the class takes place on the floor, with the choice to use bolsters, blocks, blankets and straps for comfort and support. The practice also incorporates mindfulness and principles from Traditional Chinese Medicine.

This class may suit you if you are looking for a slower, more meditative practice, supported stretching, greater mobility over time or a quiet balance to a busy or active lifestyle.

Things to know: Yin is slow and still, but involves floor-based movement and supported stretching. No experience or flexibility is needed, though getting to and from the floor with reasonable comfort is helpful.

    UNFOLD - Hatha Yoga

    75 minutes | Thursday Mornings

UNFOLD is a steady, breath-aware Hatha yoga class combining mindful movement, strength, mobility, balance and rest.

Classes move through standing, seated and floor-based postures, with time to explore each shape rather than continuously flow from one to the next. This allows more space to adjust, understand the movement and find the option that feels most supportive for your body.

The practice is active and strengthening, while still feeling considered and accessible. Clear guidance, props and options are offered throughout, and each class finishes with rest in Savasana.

This class may suit you if you are looking for a full-body yoga practice with time to build strength, balance, stability and confidence.

Things to know: Beginners are very welcome. You do not need to be flexible, strong or experienced, although it is helpful to be reasonably comfortable moving between standing, seated and floor-based postures.

  • EXHALE - Slow Flow Yoga

    75 mins | Thursday Evenings

EXHALE is a slower-paced, breath-led flow yoga class, similar to Vinyasa but with more time to move between postures and understand how each movement connects.

Sequences link standing, seated and floor-based postures with the breath, creating a steady and continuous sense of flow. While the pace is considered, EXHALE is the studio’s most active class and includes flowing movement, strength, mobility, balance and rest.

There is time to transition with awareness, settle into each shape and choose the option that feels most supportive for your body. Props, variations and options are always offered throughout the practice.

This class may suit you if you are looking for a more active, mindful flowing practice, a slower introduction to Vinyasa-style yoga, or a way to build confidence with breath-led movement.

Things to know: Beginners are very welcome, although this is a full-body flowing practice. You do not need to be flexible, strong or experienced, but it is helpful to be reasonably comfortable moving between standing, seated and floor-based postures.

    EMBODY - Chair Yoga

    75 minutes | Monday Mornings

EMBODY is a gentle, practical yoga class adapted to be practised seated or with the support of a chair.

Classes include joint mobility, strength, balance, breath awareness and accessible yoga postures. Some movements are practised seated, while others may be offered standing with the chair nearby for stability and support.

This class may suit you if you are looking for a gentle introduction to yoga, greater confidence in movement, or support with balance, strength and mobility. It may also be helpful when returning to movement after illness, injury, surgery or time away.

Things to know: No previous yoga experience is needed, and you do not need to be flexible, fit or able to get down to the floor. Options are always offered so you can work within your own ability and current needs.

  • SURRENDER & REST - Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra & Sound Meditation

2 hours | Monthly Sunday session | Women only

SURRENDER & REST is a deeply restful restorative yoga experience designed as a longer pause from everyday life.

The session includes a small number of fully supported postures held with bolsters, blankets and props, followed by crystal singing bowls and a guided Yoga Nidra meditation. There is no stretching, strengthening or pressure to perform. The focus is comfort, stillness and allowing the body to settle.

This session may suit you if you are looking for a monthly ritual of rest, support during busy or depleted periods, or a calm combination of restorative yoga, meditation and sound.

Things to know: No yoga or meditation experience is needed. Everything is optional, all props are provided, and you are welcome to rest or adjust at any time. Wear warm, comfortable clothing.
